The BEMNAT School of Leadership, Governance and Computer Science is a proposed six-year secondary school in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, opening in Kolwezi in 2027. A program of Kids-Teck Inc, a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity.

Children in the DR Congo grow up with ambition but few good schools and no path into technology careers. Teenagers without school or work are easy targets for armed groups.

New investment in the copper and cobalt belt will need Congolese engineers and leaders who can run, secure, and govern systems honestly.

A talent base where it is needed
Kolwezi and Lubumbashi sit in the heart of the mining region, where trained technical talent is in short supply.
A lasting institution
Funds buy land and build a campus the school owns, cutting rent and anchoring a long-term institution in the region.
The school
A six-year secondary school. Students enter at age 12 and graduate at 17–18, with 60 students per campus.
Kolwezi, Kinshasa, Lubumbashi
Kolwezi opens in 2027. Planning for Kinshasa and Lubumbashi starts in 2027; both open in 2030 — 180 students in all.
Congolese and U.S.-recognized
Graduates earn the Congolese state diploma (Diplôme d'État) plus a certificate from Transformed 2 Succeed LLC (USA). Transcripts are evaluated for U.S. high school equivalency.
American-led, Congolese-taught
An American instructor leads each campus and trains Congolese teachers: 4 in Kolwezi in 2027, growing to 18 across three campuses by 2031.
Part of the national system
The school registers with the Ministry of Primary, Secondary and Technical Education (EPST) in 2027.
From rented space to our own campus
Kolwezi land is bought in 2027, designed and permitted in 2028, and built from 2029 — finished by 2031 or sooner.

Six years of learning
Year 1 is intensive English. From Year 2, students study leadership, governance, AI, machine learning, robotics and Python alongside the national curriculum.
Intensive English, full time, with core math and French kept up so students stay on track for the state diploma.
Leadership and governance; introduction to AI, machine learning, and robotics; Python and other scripting languages; national curriculum.
Computer foundations (Linux, networks, web, databases); math for AI; first robotics builds; a student council that manages a real budget.
Applied machine learning and data projects; robotics for safety in mines and farms; cybersecurity basics; a first industry certification; mock parliament.
Cloud and DevOps; AI ethics and responsible technology; a community internship; English proficiency exam and U.S. college preparation.
A capstone project for a real client; leadership service project; Examen d'État preparation; university and job placement; graduation.
No student ever enters an active mine site. Robotics for mine safety is taught in the classroom and lab.

- 2028Kolwezi students pass a B1 English test; campus design and permits complete; Kinshasa and Lubumbashi sites chosen.
- 2029Kolwezi construction begins; first robotics showcase; partners signed for the 2030 expansion.
- 2030Kinshasa and Lubumbashi open; 180 students enrolled; independent mid-term evaluation published.
- 2031Kolwezi campus finished; students complete a community internship.
- 2032First 60 graduates earn the state diploma and the T2S certificate; the second campus building begins.

A South Dakota nonprofit corporation incorporated February 10, 2023, and an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 92-2466589). Kids-Teck leads and owns the school: local partners, enrollment, child safeguarding, reporting, and funds. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. kids-teck.org
Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Naweji
Born in Namur, Belgium, raised in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and an American citizen living in Crooks, South Dakota. Through Transformed 2 Succeed he trains people in the United States for careers in AI, cloud, and DevOps.

Safeguards
- Background checks for all staff
- Two-adult rule and written parent consent
- A trained safeguarding lead on each campus
- American staff register with STEP, carry evacuation insurance, and teach online when travel is unsafe
